Black Cow, 70ml
Dry Vermouth, 7ml
Lemon zest
Dry Vermouth, 7ml
Lemon zest
Spoonful of Caviar to Serve
-
Step by step
Prepare the glasses. Fill martini or coupe glasses with ice water to quickly chill; let stand 1 to 2 minutes. Drain and dry.
–
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes (large cubes won’t melt as quickly as small cubes).
–
Add the Black Cow and the vermouth, shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
–
Pour through a cocktail strainer (you don’t want any ice fragments diluting your martini) into the chilled martini glass.
–
Squeeze and twist a strip of lemon rind over the top of the glass to release the zest over the liquid, then rub the lemon around the rim of the glass, then drop it into the martini.
–
Serve with a spoonful of caviar. To enjoy: do the caviar bump, and then take a sip.
