Good news for people of Ontario, Canada - Black Cow Vodka has arrived on the shelves of LCBO stores. Our premium pure milk vodka has crossed the pond and is giving the vodka category a fresh new addition.
“There is this misconception that vodka is not as interesting, or as complex, as brown spirits,” said Paul Archard, founder partner, Black Cow. “We set out to prove otherwise and we are confident that once consumers try our product, they’ll look at vodka in a new light.”
Created entirely from the milk of grass grazed cows, Black Cow is crystal clear yet stands apart due to its creamy character and smooth texture. The vodka is made by separating the milk into curds and whey, then fermenting the whey into beer using a special yeast. This milk beer is then distilled and treated in a proprietary blending process. The vodka is then triple filtered and finished, before being hand bottled.
The milk is also used to create a specialty cheese that expertly pairs with the vodka and is also available in market. The Black Cow vintage cheddar has a smooth texture with an occasional crystal crunch. It is known for its mature, sweet and nutty flavour.
Black Cow retails at $49.95 for 750ml and can be found at over 250 LCBO stores across the province. The Black Cow vintage cheddar is available in 200 gram truckles at speciality stores. Please contact info@lesdependances.ca for more information.
